Business system imports for transports

Hi

I have setup the transport groups in SLD for the business systems to automatically convert Dev BS to QA BS after transports. Now i was wondering do i need to first manually import the business systems of both dev and QA into QA ID  from the SLD before doing the CTS+ transports? Also do i also need to have the business system of QA imported from SLD into Dev ID?
