reporting query

hi experts,

                       I have one doubt.  I have two queries one is which is displaying the data of some inflows and outflows depending on Cal day prompt. And another one is on Cal month. when we give Cal day it automatically picks the financial year of Cal month to that particular query. This will be done on design studio. when we combine both queries if the user gives say  01.02.2014 means when we click on particular inflows it shows the financial months of the flows. can it be possible. If possible means how I have to restrict it in the query level. Any ideas will be appreciated.
