Hello, PowerDesigner experts-
I am using PD v16.5.3.1 and check my models in and out of a repository. I have added some shortcut tables to a physical data model by dragging them from another model. I would like to make changes to the original table and I have confirmed that I have Write permission on this model.
It appears that the original model was checked in with the symbols protected. The "Unprotect Symbols" option is available/bolded but when I select it nothing appears to happen and the "Protect" option does not become enabled. So I am unable to edit the table.
Do I have to have Full permission on a model to be able to Unprotect it? Why would I be able to Protect a model with Write permission but not be able to Unprotect it with the same level of permission?
