I'm not good with fixed assets. One of the users is trying to do intercompany Asset transfer using ABT1N and they get an error "posting with trans.type 230 not possible (no acquisition posted)".
I tried to research what the problem could be. I found that the Asset does not have "Posting information" on the master data. then I investigated and found out that the Asset was not included in the PO (invoice is already paid) under account assignment. The user has entered an incorrect asset number on the PO. Now the Period is closed. we need to add the correct asset in the PO and delete the incorrect one.
Will this solve the issue with the intercompany Asset Transfer? If it will, how do we correct the PO (the invoice has already being received and paid to the vendor)?
